It wasn't the best opponent or the most important game, but in Turgeon's second year we had a pretty remarkable comeback against Radford in the tournament in Alaska. We trailed by 8 with less than a minute to go and pulled out a 82-81 win.

It felt like it was the first time we'd pulled one off like that in at least a dozen years at the time. Maybe it was.

Nope, it was Koch's first year after the renovation. The Coliseum season was a year prior. That was a horrible way to end a game. Fridge probably could have threw 4 headbands that game, unlike the 1 he threw in the ORU loss that same year. So frustrating.

        ... No really, deuces.

I think even more notable is that it was away from home. Those were the days where wins away from home were about as likely to happen as Jamar Howard 4 President making a post without the use of a calculator.

Ugh then that was a different game then the one I am thinking of. I remember being up by 6 points or so at the Coliseum and Randy trapped himself near the south tunnel and it ended up in a turnover. We ended up losing with something like less than a minute left in the game and being up around 6 at the time.

Wow, it was the same game. This totally jogged my memory. I forgot that I used to sit behind the basket for a season or two at Koch after the reno. That's also where I sat at the Coliseum and my memory is based on my vantage point. Good times!
